The “Porgel” is a kind of musical organ. Its pipes are tree trunks with a lengthwise hole running through them. They lie in the water in a stack, like those we know from forestry. Two bellows supply the key desk and pipes with air. The “Porgel” was realized for the first time for the Supergau Festival in Lungau in 2023. Florian Gwinner has now adapted this work and installed it at the monastery ponds. Visitors can make the tree trunk pipes come to life during the exhibition project “flora pondtemporary” 2024 at the foot of St. Florian monastery, with its prominent Bruckner organ.
